Adam has just returned from Toronto where he spent 2 weeks playing Kosta Beciraj, the corrupt Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo for The CW’s flagship show, ‘Nikita’, starring Maggie Q. Above he poses for stills for the episode with Kosta’s pet tiger, Kiki - in real life, a male tiger called Robbie. “It only hit home the night before that the following morning I was going to have shots taken with a real tiger. As the trainer led us down the cat enclosures we went straight past a really decent sized tiger, and finally stopped outside Robbie’s cage. And he seemed about twice the size of the first one.” “I’ve loved tigers all my life, so getting up close and personal with one for several hours for the shoot was a dream come true. It eventually got so that he was nuzzling my face, and I could smell the meat on his breath that the trainer had been rewarding him with! What the trainer didn’t know was that I had already fed him a couple of sides of ham early that morning just to take the edge off.” Adam went on to say what a great experience he’d had working with the show’s star, Maggie Q; “Well, she’s beautiful, smart and very funny, but before you guys start getting any ideas, be warned; her Kung Fu’s fast as lightning. Trust me on that one.” Adam stars as Kosta Beciraj in Nikita, Season 3, Episode 10 “A Brave New World” directed by the show’s producer/director, Marc David Alpert.
